The time has come to put the current incarnation of SolidState out of it's misery.

SolidState was born 4 and a half years ago and all this time it's been hosted on 110MB.com, but the downtimes of the last several months have finally been too much to handle.

Therefore I have decided to stop updating this blog and restart anew with a Wordpress install on a stable server.

I've been gently granted server space by Pastbytes (founder and main Admin of Retrocomputacion.com)

The new blog address is www.solidstate.com.ar, as you can see it's not open yet but dont get the counter to seriously as I have no set date to open the new blog, it may be sooner or it may be later.

Is official! The third edition of the Retrospectiva competition opens today.

The music competition is back, for a total of 4 categories:

• Game programming
• One-file Demo
• Graphics
• Music

Also, starting this year we'll choose a suggested theme for compo entries.
This year's theme is the space age.
Also included is the BASIC listing of the classic game Lunar Lander for use as a base framework for you entry project if you want.
